Join us for the New York restoration premiere of “Pêcheur d’Islande (An Iceland Fisherman) (1924)”, directed by Jacques de Baroncelli. This event is part of MoMA’s Silent Movie Week 2024.

“Pêcheur d’Islande (An Iceland Fisherman)” is a French silent film with a screenplay by Jacques de Baroncelli and Pierre Loti. Starring Sanda Milovanoff, Charles Vanel, and Thomy Bourdelle, the film has a runtime of 93 minutes. The digital restoration is courtesy of Film Preservation Associates/Blackhawk Films. The screening will feature piano accompaniment by Makia Matsumura.
